Jason and I had a fruitful meeting with the founder and Executive Director of Achievement Matters (www.myachievementmatters.com). The plan is to team up with them to offer free math, science, and reading tutoring to youth and teens at the new community center at Courtland starting in January. The two organizations will provide fully vetted, professional tutors for these subjects twice a week, funded by the No Child Left Behind act. It's not set in stone yet, but it's looking good.
