Culinary students returned to Courtland earlier this evening to learn the art of table-setting. Chef Barnard inspired the students with his creativity and allowed them to set tables on their own. See for yourselves the end result. Wow!

Front Step's Napkin Folding Instruction Class - Tues, Sept 18th
About 16 culinary students braved the stormy weather to
attend our very first napkin folding instruction class which took place on Tuesday,
September 18th, under the leadership of our resident chef and
instructor, Chef Bernard.

Our Introductory Culinary Class - Tuesday, Sept 11.
11 students attended the introductory culinary class at our Courtland Building. Instructor, Chef Bernard gave an overview of what students can expect once enrolled in the program. The evening's activities included; table setting, the use of herbs, different culinary instruments and various cooking styles. Chef Bernard enlightened the students on the history of famous black chefs. The evening ended with Hors d oeuvres and a taste of Chef's signature Gourmet Lemonade. The famous Chef Carl Redding, who appeared on The Chew, two weeks ago, made a surprise appearance.
